Finally the video of “Baahubali Making – Visualising the world of Baahubali” is out.
To begin with, “Baahubali” movie has stemmed purely from the imagination of director S.S.Rajamouli who is the captain of the ship. As far as we can summarize the movie in a line, it is about the battle of two brothers for a kingdom. So, in TFI, to portray the character of warriors our heroes should sport an excellent height and physique. Only Rana and Prabhas can fit in these characters. Hence our captain has made an excellent choice in the first step.
Moving on, to picturise a war sequence sets have to be erected, weapons have to be designed and manufactured in bulk. Sabu Cyril is the most celebrated art director in the country and he is roped in for this work. Director nailed it once again.
One year of Pre-Production work went on before the shooting started. Usually, in a year, within 6 months movies are filmed and released, but in Baahubali the time taken for pre-production activity itself, speaks volumes. The man hours spent, the artists involved all these stand for the quality of output Rajamouli is expecting to show on screen. His creativity is unleashed time and again.
The sets to be erected shown in the making video are initially drawn on paper with free hand and it is computer programmed in 3D modelling and other software’s. Then lot of raw material and workers are employed to erect them in real time, It was a part of the pre-production activity. The script, dialogues, costumes, jewelry all these come in the pre-production works process.
Latest technology and software’s are used to visualize the “Baahubali” before it is filmed and captured in camera. The hard-work put in by the team is visible in this 2 min 49 sec video. This movie will raise the standard of film making in TFI in all aspects, either commercial or technical.
Enough said, lets wait for more trailers and audios from the team. I am already waiting for the movie release since one year..!!
